Week Ending - August 27, 2010

The school year has gotten off to a very good start.
Our current enrollment is 232 students with a waiting list for 9th and 10th graders. We are very excited to have our 13 new 6th grade students and extend a special welcome to these families who are  our inaugural group of 6th graders.

I also extend a warm welcome to all new and returning families, many of whom I got to visit with at the Back-To-School BBQ.

We held our first Stakeholder Meeting of the school year on Wednesday, August 25. New-to-the-Model information was presented and you will find the responses to the question left on the charts posted on the Highland Tech Website (www.highlandtechhigh.org) by Monday, August 30.
